Our amazing students from Blanche Moore Elementary dashed, skipped, and had a blast this morning at the Monster Mash Cupcake Dash 5K benefiting Family Counseling Services of the Coastal Bend!
We are so proud of these students for lacing up their shoes to support such a wonderful cause in our community. Every step helps!

REMINDER: Moore Families, The window for Stage 1 Kindergarten Gifted and Talented (G/T) Testing opens October 20, 2025. Our Kindergarten Eagles are scheduled to take their Stage 1 GT Test October 21st (Ruiz, Hastings, Lott) and October 23rd (Reyes, Garcia, Lott). All Kindergarten students will take the Stage 1 GT test unless a Parent OPT-OUT form is on file with the district. The parent OPT-OUT form was emailed to the email address on file in eSchool. Please be advised of the following dates that your child’s class will take their test. We ask that students come to school well rested to ensure the best testing outcome for your child.

The learning.com visit went very well. The representatives were very impressed with the level of knowledge of our Moore students. They enjoyed speaking with them and hearing about their favorite things about the program and ideas on things they would like to see in the future. Give it up for Ms. Castillo's rockstar 3rd graders! These academic athletes crushed the competition this week by scoring perfect attendance! That's right, they earned a flawless, gold-star, 100% week, which means... They unlocked the treasure! 🎁 The whole class got VIP access to Mrs. Luna's legendary prize box! Way to go, Team Castillo! You showed up, you shined, and now you have the spoils to prove it!
